¡Hola a todos!
Due to weather conditions we have made the decision to move the festival from Marcum Park to Market street between 2nd street and 3rd street. The Mcdulin Parking garage will provide cover from the weather conditions we may have tomorrow.
We are currently working with the city and parks to make the move possible. We appreciate your patients as we navigate this change.
Changes for vendors:
Please read these very carefully
Power: There are very limited power sources at market street. We are working with the city to give us the most options possible. Please let us know if you absolutely need access to power and we will arrange the vendor layout to accommodate the most vendors possible.
Water: For vendors that need access to water, we are working to see if we can gain access to a water source near market street. The access we are able to provide you now is on Dayton Street on the sidewalk off Marcum park. There are two spouts there that we are able to use. We are hoping to have a volunteer there to help vendors gain access.
Tents: Due to the limited space we are now working with, we are asking Non-Food Vendors to please not bring tents. being under the garage will provide cover from the weather. We will also have a limited number of tents available on the off chance that your table is located in such a way that you may need one.
Tents : For Food Vendors, if you are a food truck we encourage you to bring a tent, as you may not be placed under the garage, this will allow you to place a tent in front of your window and allow patrons to stand under cover of the rain. Food Vendors that do not have a food truck we encourage to to bring a tent, as that is one of the requirements for obtaining your temporary food license
Layout: We will share the vendor layout as soon as we have it completed.
Again we thank you for your patients as we navigate this challenge. Despite the weather we still believe that this event will be a lot of fun and one to remember!
Please stay tune for further emails from out team
Gracias!

Simple Tips to Make Your Life Healthier
Making major changes to your life can sometimes seem very overwhelming. It may be more manageable to start with just one thing — like eating more of your favorite fruit — rather than all of them at once.
Eat from smaller plates
The size of your dinnerware can affect how much you eat. Eating from a large plate can make your portion look smaller, while eating from a small plate can make it look bigger.
According to one 2017 study, eating from a smaller plate was associated with increased feelings of satiety and reduced energy intake among participants with a moderate body weight.
Also, if you don’t realize you’re eating less than usual, you won’t compensate by eating more at the next meal. By eating from smaller dinnerware, you can trick your brain into thinking that you’re eating more, making yourself less likely to overeat.
