Simple Tips to Make Your Life Healthier
Making major changes to your life can sometimes seem very overwhelming. It may be more manageable to start with just one thing — like eating more of your favorite fruit — rather than all of them at once.
Schedule regular check-ups to monitor your health. An important part of improving and maintaining your health is scheduling regular visits to the doctor. Your healthcare professional will be able to give you recommendations about how you can improve your health, as well as point out any unhealthy habits you may need to stop.
If you take medication for chronic conditions, schedule an appointment with your primary care physician at least once a year.
Come prepared with any questions or concerns you may have about your health to help potentially cut down on follow-up appointments.
Also visit your dentist. It's typically recommended to go twice a year for routine cleanings.[22]
Book appointments with other medical professionals if you have any specific health concerns, such as an OB/GYN, allergist, dermatologist, or endocrinologist.
