150 New Jobs Coming To Vinylmax In Hamilton Following Expansion
Vinylmax Windows is gearing up to expand its team significantly, with plans to add 150 new positions after a major facility upgrade in Hamilton.
The company, which has been a key player in the window and patio door manufacturing industry for over 40 years, relocated from Sharonville to Hamilton back in 2008. Initially, the move to a 150,000-square-foot facility on McBride Court was a major leap. However, with the recent expansion, Vinylmax now boasts an impressive 306,000 square feet of space to accommodate its rapid growth. President Laura Doerger-Roberts highlights that this expansion was crucial due to the company's tripled production and capacity.
When Vinylmax first set up in Hamilton, the team consisted of around 65 employees. Today, the workforce has grown to over 300, and with the upcoming additions, the company is set to reach new heights. Doerger-Roberts emphasizes that Hamilton was the ideal location for this growth due to its strong local workforce and community support.
Hamilton’s Economic Development Director, Jody Gunderson, notes that the city and Vinylmax share a mutual goal: keeping the business thriving and expanding within Hamilton.
Vinylmax has also benefited from financial incentives, including a property tax abatement and a job-creation tax credit from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority, which have supported the expansion.
Doerger-Roberts reflects on the company’s enduring commitment to quality.
The new facility includes 20,000 square feet dedicated to employee welfare, featuring enhanced break rooms, quiet areas, collaborative spaces, and a high-tech conference center for training and customer engagement.
The goal at Vinylmax is to ensure that employees find their forever career with them. They’re committed to providing more than just a job; they are offering a lasting career, and Hamilton provides the perfect environment for such a relationship.
